Elderslie Reserve Facility Development Plan

City of Greater Geelong engaged Solucio and The OCD to develop a Facility Development Plan for Elderslie Recreation Reserve.

The purpose of the project was to provide a strategic framework for identified infrastructure upgrades, to ensure that facilities at the reserve are compliant, fit-for-purpose, welcoming, gender neutral and provide access for all.

The FDP builds on the 2008 Elderslie Reserve Master Plan, and was developed based on:

• Existing site plan.
• Issues and Opportunities Report.
• Schematic design of the reserve and football pavilions.
• Illustrative Landscape Plan, including detailed area plans for netball, play space and the football pavilion.
• Preliminary Quantity Surveyor cost estimates and a funding strategy.

The final outcome was a detailed report outlining the strategic rationale and staged approach of the final Facility Development Plan.
