State Infrastructure Strategy

Solucio was engaged to develop a state infrastructure strategy to guide future investment into cricket infrastructure in NSW.

The objective was to develop a strategy and data dashboard to identify priority areas for investment in cricket on a region-by-region basis.

The methodology for this project involved:

• Extensive stakeholder consultation process with over 1,380 stakeholders (22 regional workshops, 18 one-on-one interviews and an online survey to the NSW cricket community) to understand the key infrastructure needs and priorities in each region.
• Detailed analysis of facility audit, participation and population data to build a foundation of evidence to support decision making.
• Development of an updated facility hierarchy to accurately classify facilities based on the provision of key infrastructure.
• Community impact study to understand the economic, health and social impact of Cricket to the broader community in NSW/ACT.

The final outcome was an infrastructure strategy which provides CNSW and local government with clear direction and evidence to guide investment in cricket infrastructure over the next 10 years.
