Home of Football and Show Pitch Feasibility Study

Solucio and The OCD were engaged to undertake a feasibility study into the provision of a Home of Football and a Show Pitch for Tasmania. The project was conducted between early November 2023, and early December 2023.

The objective of this project was to understand the requirements and feasibility of each project within the Greater Hobart region, and provide recommendations for a short-list of possible sites, as well as guidance and next steps for the organisation based on the findings.

The methodology for this project involved:

• Project scoping workshop and development of a feasibility framework.
• Initial concept design, site requirements, and short-listing of sites.
• Detailed site feasibility and selection.
• Costings, staging and final assessment.
• 3D rendering and publication of optimal facilities and locations.

The final outcome of the project was a detailed feasibility study and concept design which has recently been published by local newspapers – and has provided Football Tasmania with a valuable resource to pursue next steps.
