Ben Manning is a strategic leader and operations specialist with over 15 years of experience in the sport, leisure, and business sectors. As Senior Manager at Solucio, Ben plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational performance of the business, nurturing a high-performance culture, and mentoring the next generation of consultants and leaders. He is known for his ability to align people, priorities, and processes, ensuring that projects not only meet expectations but consistently exceed them.

Ben began his career at Motorsport Australia (then CAMS), where he worked directly with hundreds of grassroots clubs and volunteers and contributed to the delivery of three Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix events. That early exposure to event operations and sport development shaped his appreciation for detail, coordination, and the power of good partnerships.

His expertise spans business analytics, strategic research, financial modelling, business case development, and organisational strategy. With an MBA and a strong foundation in both sport science and business management, Ben brings a cross-sector lens to consulting, drawing on an expansive set of reference points to develop clear, tailored solutions to complex challenges.

He thrives in fast-paced environments and finds the most satisfaction in working alongside great people, partners, and clients alike. Those who work with him often say he sets the bar high, but he does so with generosity, perspective, and an eye for long-term growth.

Outside the office, Ben can be found running before sunrise, reading at least a dozen books a year, or spending time with his family at the beach. He is an active volunteer at Edithvale Surf Life Saving Club, where his children participate in the Nippers program.

Ben is a proud follower of both the Australian Athletics and Australia Cricket teams, and is a long-suffering Saints fan. Ben’s passion for sport runs deep, he once designed and published a sport-science-based mobile app, just for fun.
