Chris Wallace
Senior Consultant
Chris brings a unique blend of financial expertise, sporting insight, and strategic leadership across both corporate and community sectors. With over 30 years of professional experience, Chris brings a sharp analytical mind, a deep appreciation for grassroots sport, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to every project.
Chris began his career in finance, holding positions at PwC, Brazin Limited, and IBM Australia, where he led multi-billion-dollar budget processes and managed large-scale financial operations. He later ran his own accounting business, supporting more than 200 clients before shifting his focus to sport and community development.
He spent over a decade in senior roles at Bowls Australia, most recently as General Manager, Participation & Programs, where he led groundbreaking work in club support, digital innovation, and inclusion. His leadership contributed to the development of some of the sport’s most impactful tools and platforms, including BowlsLink, BowlsLearn, and BowlsNow, which continue to enhance the experience for players, clubs, and volunteers nationwide.
At Solucio, Chris thrives on helping clients solve complex challenges in the sport, leisure, and local government sectors. He brings a cross-sector perspective informed by his time in finance, retail, hospitality, and sport, as well as a passion for creating positive outcomes for individuals and communities.
Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated family man, a competitive bowler, a keen golfer, and a cyclist. He volunteers with both the Dandenong Club (Bowls) and Seaford United Soccer Club, and is a diehard supporter of the Sydney Swans, Parramatta Eels, Melbourne Vixens (and just about every Australian national team you can name).
He’s also a bit of a political junkie with a keen interest in US politics, as well as being a lifelong game show enthusiast – he has even made a few appearances on screen himself – bonus points if you can guess which shows!
