Description

SBP was engaged to provide a clear understanding of the current and future requirements for aquatic facilities in Campbelltown and assist in establishing future priorities. The objective of the project was to develop a comprehensive demand and needs assessment for aquatic, indoor sports and recreation facilities projected into the future.

GIS mapping, assessment of facility catchments, detailed financial and operational analysis and extensive stakeholder consultation were undertaken to inform the vision, priorities and recommendations of the project.

The final outcome was an Aquatic and Indoor Sport Strategy which provides the direction to transform Campbelltown City Council’s facilities into a sustainable, adaptable and accessible network that enhances active participation and, the health and wellbeing of the community.
